Dual-bay Internal Tanker wash – McColl’s

A major Austeng milestone revisited.
Back in June we delivered one of our biggest custom engineering builds to date — a dual-bay internal tanker wash for McColl’s, purpose-built to clean two tankers simultaneously with absolute consistency.

The system includes:
• 1 MW steam boiler for direct steam injection
• 140-bar high-pressure hot water delivered via hydraulically driven spinner heads
• Fully automated selection of steam, hot, cold or detergent-dosed cycles
• 25 kL water storage with integrated level management
• A custom access gantry with lifting hoists and full fall-protection for safe entry through manholes
• Designed to dramatically reduce manual handling and standardise wash quality

We’ve just completed a routine service and it’s running as designed — powerful, reliable and built for industrial duty.
