Russell graduated from Melbourne University (B.Sci/Masters Eng) and before joining Austeng, Russell had over four years experience as mechanical engineer and designer and has worked for leading building services engineering & consultancy firms (NDY & KBR) within Melbourne across many industries including; infrastructure, transportation, commercial, retail, residential, education and agriculture.
In his role as a Mechanical Engineer, Russell excels in designing and developing cutting-edge mechanical systems and components. His deep understanding of engineering principles, coupled with his adept use of advanced design tools and software, allows him to create precise and efficient solutions tailored to meet the complex needs of each project. His meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality ensure that every design adheres to the highest standards of safety and performance.
As a Project Manager, Russell demonstrates exceptional leadership and organizational skills. He adeptly manages all phases of engineering projects, from initial planning and scope definition through execution and completion. Russell is known for his ability to develop comprehensive project plans, allocate resources effectively, and coordinate seamlessly with clients, vendors, and team members. His proactive approach to risk management and problem-solving ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence.

Russell is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CP Eng), registered with the National Engineering Register (NER) and a Registered Professional Engineer with the Victorian Building Licensing Authority (RPEV).
