Austeng are a boutique engineering firm that specialises in the design, engineering, development and building of customised electromechanical machinery and systems
Austeng has a long history in high-temperature industrial systems, including ovens, dryers, combustion equipment and process heating solutions. Before becoming Austeng, the business operated as Geelong Conveyors and Ovens, giving us decades of practical experience in designing, manufacturing, refurbishing and supporting heated process equipment across a wide range of industrial applications.
Today, Austeng combines engineering design, fabrication, electrical integration, controls, installation and ongoing service support to help customers maintain, upgrade or implement high-temperature systems that are safe, reliable and fit for purpose.
Austeng has experience across a broad range of industrial oven, dryer and process heating systems, including, but not limited to:
Our integrated engineering and manufacturing capability allows us to support customers from early concept and design through to fabrication, control system integration, commissioning, maintenance and upgrades.
Whether the requirement is a new system, an equipment refurbishment, safety upgrade, mechanical modification, control system improvement or ongoing maintenance support, Austeng provides practical, locally based engineering expertise.
Austeng’s high-temperature capability is supported by practical project experience across a range of industrial applications.
Austeng worked with Partington on a heated press automation project, supporting the development of a practical, automated system for a high-temperature manufacturing process. Helping support the development of world lightest wheels

The project demonstrated Austeng’s ability to combine mechanical design, controls, automation and process heating requirements into a functional industrial solution.
Austeng worked with Inconmat to design a new industrial oven for curing extruded glass products.
The project drew on Austeng’s experience in high-temperature process equipment, airflow, heat control, mechanical design and site-specific integration to support a controlled curing process.
Austeng is currently working with Capral on an ageing oven project.
The system is designed to support the heat treatment of aluminium products, helping change and enhance material properties through a controlled heating process. This project further demonstrates Austeng’s capability in industrial heat treatment, oven systems and practical engineering support for Australian manufacturing operations.
These projects reflect Austeng’s ability to support customers across both new equipment design and upgrades to existing high-temperature systems.
Through Austeng’s partnership with EC Tech, a UK-based specialist in high-temperature combustion and incineration technology, Austeng can offer a proven range of incinerators for Australian and New Zealand customers.
This partnership combines EC Tech’s established incinerator designs with Austeng’s local engineering, installation, commissioning, compliance and service capability.
